I was googling a cookery topic and ended up at what turned out to be Stonesoup – a food blog.
I’ve only given it a glance – but first impressions are highly favourable: look and feel is great, navigation is straightforward, and appealing recipes are accompanied by interesting and explanatory words.
When googling food one often ends up in the land of Fahrenheit, pounds, and inches. Stonesoup features Centigrade, grammes, and centimetres so I assumed it was British. Further delving reveals the blog to be Australian – but aimed at an international audience.
So, thumbs very much up to Stonesoup – although it’s not flawless: I’m on a quest to find the perfect vindaloo – so my eye couldn’t help falling onto this blog’s version – which didn’t include the one key ingredient.
