I needed to look up DD307 – it’s a 60-credit, level 3 undergraduate course – ‘Social psychology: critical perspectives on self and others’.
But I readily identified the abbreviation for ‘Tutor Marked Assignment’.
I loved the video on first sight, and recognised it as a classic piece of TMA avoidance. In all honesty it’s not that close to my own experience, because maths is not essay-based – and so the approach is different.
My own approach to maths questions is to recognise that they need quite a bit of elapsed time – that it is necessary sometimes simply to stare at a problem – and that if you do this for long enough – and enough times (!) – then a way forward will – eventually – present itself. Plus this is quite a good way to while away train journeys.
