Mystery solved

Background: I’ve owned two ultra-simple mobile phones – one for five years, the other for one.

Earlier today my phone went mysteriously dead.

Completely dead, not a flicker.

Back home – a battery problem, perhaps ?

Couldn’t quite see how to open it up, so in desperation it was time to resort to the (unopened) instruction booklet – which contained helpful information on the basics – such as how to switch it off. A theory formed: perhaps I had inadvertantly switched off my phone ? And so – with deductive reasoning working overtime – all I needed to do was find the instructions for switching it on.

Hey presto – phone restored.
