My posts have become a bit sparse lately. No clear reason – just haven’t got the balance right between blogging, working life, domestic life, and Open University studies.
There’s been some interesting news from (the planet) Mercury, courtesy of the Messenger spacecraft. The probe has found evidence of water and organic molecules at the poles, adding significantly to our understanding of the inner planets.
So how do I know ? I was listening to Sarah Montague, on Today, talking to Professor Andrew Coates of the Mullard Space Laboratory, whose job title is none other than (small drum roll):
- Deputy Director of the Solar System.
